By the April 4, we received 15 Chinese essays. After elected by the committee members, we got eight winers.

Di Luo - Performance at the Chinese New Year Celebration. (Teacher: Ms. Xuemei Li)
Yangjin Zhang - My Father (Teacher: Ms. Xuemei Li)
Elizabeth Guo - Panda (Teacher: Mr. Jiang Fan)
Wenmin Li - My Mother (Teacher: Ms. Heying Ye)
The honorable mentions are:
Heyue Sun (Teacher: Ms. Xuemei Li) and Kevin You (Teacher: Ms. Xianyuan Hu).
We will send these seven essays to participate 5th. Chinese essay contest or other publisher. We will publish these seven essays in our school year book also. All winners and honorable mentions will receive a gift on May 2.
Congratulation to those winners, honorable mentions, their teachers and parents. We hope that there are more and more students will participate in the futher contests and inprove their Chinese study.
Notice:
1. All winners, please turn in a hard copy of your revised essay,a flopy contains essay and a brief description of the author's Chinese study history, birth day this Sunday at the front desk.
2. All winners' teachers, please turn in a brief resume related the Chinese major and teaching experience this Sunday at the front desk.
